CADD Technician - Roadway

ATG is currently seeking a CADD Technician - Roadway for our Austin, Texas office. This position will be a key hire to help grow our Roadway Design practice.

The CADD Technician position will assist in producing drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs for transportation projects using Microstation.

Required Qualifications:

• Progressive experience performing engineering duties similar to those listed above.
• Knowledge of engineering software, programs, and methods used for duties described above.
• Worked with the assigned Project Engineer or Project Manager and provided drafting support as needed
• High school or technical school training

Desired Qualifications:

• Relevant technology/software experience (Microstation required with experience using GEOPAK for Plan Annotation).
• Familiarity with CADD Standards and Transportation Manuals (such as TxDOT CADD Standards).
• Experience assisting engineering staff in the development of engineering plans for road, drainage, and traffic designs.
