Front-End Web Developer

The Front-End Web Developer will provide high-quality front-end design services to clients. The Front-End Web Developer will create visually appealing and user-friendly web applications by working directly with the Systems Architect and clients to define how applications look and feel. The Front-End Web Developer will be involved in the entire design process from client input and design to technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop professional user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Assist in UI design and requirement gathering
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements
• Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines
• Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interface

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience using web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient with client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• 2+ years of combined experience with MVC, .NET Framework, and/or .NET Core 2.0
• 2+ years of experience with C#
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Ability to account for cross-browser compatibility issues
• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of design and image manipulation tools like InDesign, Photoshop, or Gimp
• Unit testing experience
• Proficient understanding of git
• Ability to conform to company documentation and coding standards
• Client facing consulting experience
• Requirements gathering
• Experience making wireframe diagrams
