IT Analyst

The information technology analyst will be responsible for assisting with staff computer support, management, maintenance and troubleshooting of the corporate network and servers. A typical day in this role consists of technical support requests, server management, preparing for new employees, server backups, and IT department documentation and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server domain (active directory, DHCP, DNS), web, and database servers
• Hyper-V virtual machine management
• Server backup
• Configuration and deployment of client computers and servers
• Office 365 administration of user accounts and email
• Maintenance of existing anti-virus systems
• Administration of primary and secondary DNS for corporate domain
• Software installation
• Support for internal employee computer systems using Microsoft Windows 7/8/8.1/10 Professional
• Occasional travel (2-3 times a year) to satellite offices for IT deployment/maintenance
• Assist with computer and server specification selection
• Assist with hardware and software budgeting, purchasing, and inventory

• 5+ years experience in technical support/systems analysis/network administration
• Must be detail oriented
• Good communication skills in both technical and non-technical roles
• Ability to operate in a professional work environment
• Willingness to learn and evolve in a growing company
• Associates Degree in related field

Desired Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Server 2012 and 2016
• Experience with Office 365 administration
• Knowledge of major networking components and basic computer hardware components
• Experience with repairing and/or upgrading computers/servers and troubleshoot related hardware
• Procedures used in the installation, modification, maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software
• Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (degree in progress is acceptable)
