Invoicing/Billing Clerk

Position Purpose:

Responsible for providing support to the Project Accountant. Keys invoices and other internal worksheets into the Accounting system. Compiles necessary back up to supplement client invoices that are sent out monthly by the 15th and completes other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Work in conjunction with Project Managers to prepare and submit monthly invoices for all projects
• Communicate with clients regarding any invoice related issues
• Review subcontractor invoices to include with monthly submittal
• Responsible for ensuring that client invoices follow contract requirements
• Invoice and payment submittal reconciliations
• Prepares and analyzes various reporting as needed

Required Qualifications: 

• Must be well-spoken, personable and proficient with computers
• Strong prioritization, organization, and attention to detail

• Must perform duties with a high level of accuracy
• Must be able to recognize errors and audit accounting records
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to multi-task efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and customer services skills
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in AEC Industry
• At least one year experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with Deltek Vision
• Experience with varied billing contract types
• Experience with TxDOT and City of Austin invoices
