Marketing Intern

Position Purpose:

The Marketing Intern assists in the firm's ongoing marketing efforts, including proposal preparation, developing and maintaining the marketing information resources (brochures, project experience, resumes, databases, etc.), and editing, coordinating, and assisting with writing proposals, brochures, social media, and related business development/marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in the preparation of proposals, statement of qualifications and presentations.
• Completes government forms, client questionnaires, press releases, etc.
• Coordinates, assembles, and prepares materials needed for client presentations and interviews.
• Maintains and updates marketing information resources (brochures, project experience, resumes, databases, etc.)
• Participates in the design and development of new marketing materials.
• Helps to maintains corporate branding strategies, updates website, and creates content for print and social media
• Maintains CRM database (Deltek Vision).
• Coordinates work with outside vendors.
• Assists with firm sponsored events, including trade shows and conferences.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with emphasis on writing and editing skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong commitment to service and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated success in prioritizing workload
• Strong interpersonal skills. Can communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the firm.
• Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or relevant coursework required.
• Experience within a marketing department of a professional services firm.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Deltek Vision.
