Project Coordinator

ATG is seeking someone with good communication and organization skills that enjoys working through challenges collaboratively in a high energy client focused environment. This position supports the Engineering and Planning Departments. The project coordinator will assist in a variety of projects and project deliverables. They will support Project Managers in maintaining resources and work schedules, organizing, and monitoring deadlines and milestones for assigned projects, and other administrative duties as needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and assists Project Managers' efforts to create and maintain project schedule documentation, scope and fee documents, and division workload plans.
  • Assist Division Leadership monitor project progress, financial performance goals, and client satisfaction.
  • Aids efforts to maintain balanced workloads across division resources.
  • Organizes correspondence & project documents such as PMPs, QMPs, monthly progress reports, QC documentation, submittal records and cover letters.
  • Assists Project Managers, Deputy PMs, and Task Leaders with scheduling team meetings and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Prepare project related documents including reports, management plans, agenda, proposals, presentations, etc.
  • Maintain contact with Project Manager's to develop project plans and communicate submission schedules as appropriate.
  • Perform routine project deliverables quality control.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' Experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation, contracts, and schedules.
  • Knowledge of project management and scheduling software (e.g. Vision/PMIS, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Deadline and task Driven.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with management, staff, and external contacts.
  • Organization, interpersonal communication, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus
  • Experience with Deltek Vision
