Roadway Practice Lead

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Roadway Practice Lead will have a strong background in roadway planning and design, including the development of environmental documents, schematics, and PS&E for highway projects. They should have experience working with TXDOT and have relationships with other transportation agencies in the Central Texas market.

The selected individual will take an active role in identifying and winning work and in contract negotiations. He/she will be responsible for managing/mentoring staff, leading production efforts, and for providing technical leadership on all transportation projects.

Preferred experience would include:

• Project management of multi-disciplined highway projects (TXDOT preferred)
• Proposal preparation
• Client negotiations
• Team leadership

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering and TX PE licensure.
• 15 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design and Project Management.
• Experience using Microstation and GeoPak or other transportation design software packages.

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
