Urban Transportation Engineer/Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for design of multi-modal streets, site developments, utilities, transit, and bike/ped facilities. Assist in developing project scopes, schedules and budgets.  Responsibility for project staff performance. Other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills:

• Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
• PE License in Texas or ability to acquire same within 3 months.
• 6 plus years progressive experience performing engineering duties similar to those listed above. 
• Expertise with engineering software, programs and methods used for duties described above.
• Must pass background and driver's record check.

Desired Skills:

• 10 plus years experience performing projects similar to those listed above.
• Experience with City of Austin and CapMetro urban transportation projects.
